Karim worked as Chief Commercial Officer in Europe and the Gulf for both airline models -low cost and legacy carriers, such as Gulf Air, Malev and Sky Europe. He started his career with the Lufthansa Group in Network and Revenue Management and was a member of the founding management team of Germanwings/Eurowings, the low-cost subsidiary of Lufthansa.

Dr. Morsy currently holds multiple strategic leadership roles; he has served as the Dean of the Ports Training Institute (PTI) since February 2022 and as the Dean of the Maritime Research and Consultation Center (MRCC) since April 2024 at AASTMT. In January 2025, he was appointed Chairman of the International Alliance for Maritime Shipping in China. His technical expertise extends to major infrastructure projects, having served as a consultant for the structural analysis and design of quay walls and rehabilitation projects at major Egyptian ports, including Alexandria, Damietta, and Dekheila. He is also an active figure in international maritime organizations, serving as the Vice President of the International Academy for Knowledge and Port Logistics (PLIKA) in Barcelona and Chair of the Cooperation and Training Committee at the MedPorts Association. Additionally, he holds an Honorary Professorship from the Qingdao Harbour Vocational & Technical College in China.

Captain Yousef Fahed Al Serhan is a highly respected maritime authority and instructor currently serving as the Director of the Aqaba Marine Education and Training Center at Al-Balqa Applied University – Aqaba University College. He holds a Master Foreign Going certificate (1992) from the Arab Maritime Transport Academy in Alexandria, Egypt. His extensive operational career includes service at sea as a Master and officer, as well as working as a pilot and loading master in Abu Dhabi and Aqaba. In the public sector, he served as the Head of the Ship Registration and Seafarers Directorate at the Jordan Maritime Authority. Internationally recognized for his expertise, Captain Al Serhan was appointed in 2011 by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon to a special committee monitoring UN Security Council Resolution 1970/2011 on Libya, where he served as an international expert on maritime affairs. Since 2013, he has been a partner and lecturer at the Aqaba center, transforming it into a regional hub that hosts trainees from over 36 countries, while also serving as an IMO-certified Assessor and Examiner.

Dr. Maen Mustafa Massad is a distinguished academic and quality assurance leader. He holds a Ph.D. in Management and a Master's degree in Marketing, complementing his initial background with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. His career trajectory at the Jordan Academy for Maritime Studies began as a lecturer and engineering workshop supervisor, eventually leading to his current role as the Director of the Quality Management and Business Development Center. With nearly 15 years of specialized experience, Dr. Massad heads the Academy's quality and marketing activities, leading internal audit teams and ensuring compliance with local and international standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 21001, and regulations from the IMO and EU. He holds numerous high-level professional certifications, including being an EFQM Certified Assessor, a Practitioner Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI), and an IRCA Lead Auditor for multiple standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, ISM, ISPS, MLC). Additionally, he is active in the consulting field, guiding institutions in establishing and upgrading quality systems.

Eng. Nour M. Al-Mbaidin is a dynamic leader in vocational training and industrial engineering, born in 1988. She holds a degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from Mut'ah University. Currently, she serves as the Acting Director of the Aqaba National Vocational Training Hub (ANVT Hub), where she steers the hub’s strategy, institutional development, and partnerships with national and international stakeholders. Prior to leading the hub, she served as its Head of Quality Department, establishing a comprehensive Quality Management System aligned with ISO standards. Her diverse professional background includes roles with major organizations such as Jordan Aviation, BUTEC, and the Aqaba Port Marine Services Company (APMSCO), where she focused on operational safety and risk management. Eng. Al-Mbaidin is a certified EFQM assessor, having contributed to the King Abdullah II Center for Excellence and the Ajman Government Excellence Award. She has also completed Pearson professional training on Implementing BTEC HN Engineering to strengthen international qualification frameworks. Additionally, she is an active member of the Arab Women in Maritime Association.
